Women's housing, land, and property (HLP) rights are crucial for their security and inclusion. Cultural norms and discrimination often hinder these rights, exacerbated by conflict and displacement. Shelter programs must offer suitable housing, address legal barriers, prevent eviction, and employ inclusive, collaborative approaches. Advocacy should target gender-responsive laws, joint marital property rights, and alignment with international human rights standards.
