Thank you for the invitation to the National Shelter NFI & CCCM Sector meeting on Monday, October 14th, which will focus on the Winterization strategy.

I would like to underscore the urgent need to include District Shaheed Benazirabad Taluka Daur and District Sanghar in our discussions. Shaheed Benazirabad is recognized as one of the top climate-hit areas globally, experiencing severe impacts from climate change. This situation has significantly exacerbated vulnerabilities within these communities, particularly as we approach the winter months.

Incorporating insights and perspectives from these districts into the winterization strategy is essential to address the specific challenges they face effectively. Engaging representatives from these areas will help ensure that our response is comprehensive and aligned with the current needs and gaps in the government’s efforts.
